I used the polarizer as there were too many reflections from the various windows in my apartment. Would love to know which one you think is more interesting!
A photo blog to record my learning curve, while enabling other photography enthusiasts to follow my progress.
To all ye who want to paint with light ...
I should have started this blog many moons ago as I started experiencing the joys of rediscovering the art of photography. But as the saying goes - it's better late, than never!
So, here I am, in the hopes of recording what I learn as I progress from ignorance to enlightenment; about what my eyes can see that my camera can capture; and, what my mind imagines and my camera paints with its capabilities.
Please feel free to add any comments and share your wisdom (tips or tricks) that you have picked up along the way.

Day 36 - Breakfast smoothie
I took these shots yesterday, but didn't find the time to upload them as I had a lot of cooking and cleaning to do before my dinner guests arrived. So, here are the shots from yesterday. I found the second one kinda cool with a bit of a translucent effect. I did some post-processing on it to get it to the high contrast which almost makes this look like a two-dimensional drawing, rather than a photograph.
I used the polarizer as there were too many reflections from the various windows in my apartment. Would love to know which one you think is more interesting!

I like the first picture the best, it looks really professional and the colour is richer
ReplyDeleteThe first one definitely has more character, while the second one's a little unreal! Thanks for the vote, Kristy! :-)
