To all ye who want to paint with light ...

I should have started this blog many moons ago as I started experiencing the joys of rediscovering the art of photography. But as the saying goes - it's better late, than never!
So, here I am, in the hopes of recording what I learn as I progress from ignorance to enlightenment; about what my eyes can see that my camera can capture; and, what my mind imagines and my camera paints with its capabilities.

Please feel free to add any comments and share your wisdom (tips or tricks) that you have picked up along the way.

And do check out my How-To and Birding pages as well.

Day 3 - Cool mist makes me sweat

Between doing my project work (I have a project submission coming up on Friday) and other things, I was trying to investigate what the matter was with my mist-making fountain and why it was acting moody.  I got no answer.  It's still just blowing little wisps of mist into the air, unlike the thick colourful clouds of the days of yore.

More pics on my Flickr photos.

Just wanted to add a note here - my 2nd photo of the painted plates posted in the "To polarize or not to polarize" blog took the runner up at dp-review.com.

And 2 contests before that, one of my droplets placed 14th out of 83 entries, and another placed 33rd out of 498 entries.  Happy moments and thanks to all of you who keep inspiring me to do better.

Thanks to my colleagues and friends who are showing their support by even downloading the frames as wallpaper!  Greatly appreciate it!
