To all ye who want to paint with light ...

I should have started this blog many moons ago as I started experiencing the joys of rediscovering the art of photography. But as the saying goes - it's better late, than never!
So, here I am, in the hopes of recording what I learn as I progress from ignorance to enlightenment; about what my eyes can see that my camera can capture; and, what my mind imagines and my camera paints with its capabilities.

Please feel free to add any comments and share your wisdom (tips or tricks) that you have picked up along the way.

And do check out my How-To and Birding pages as well.

Day 260 - Tandoori Chicken

I have to admit I wasn't quite in the photography zone this evening.   However, I still had to do a shot of this dish as it's going to be on the cooking class menu for this weekend.  The chicken tasted great, but I have no idea why I couldn't really get a single shot to work out.   I'm just very disappointed!

  1. Toni: this looks soooo yummy!!! I've always read tandori in a menu but never thought it looks yummy as this...i need to try it next time!!! love the lighting by the way!!!

  2. Thanks, Noreen! Actually, the tandoori chicken is my litmus test for any Indian restaurant - if a restaurant can do that well, they will most definitely excel at the other dishes. In my experience, this test never fails. And there are so few restaurants that actually pass this test. You must try tandoori chicken - if it's made well, you'll get addicted to it! ;-)
